ABOUT ME

People say I'm a jovial person, just like my name sounds. I like that. I've been working professionally as a actor, singer, and dancer for more than10 years and I'm on a mission to change the world with art. Positive change engendered by means of service, empathy, and love for others. I think thats something we can all get down with. Currently you can find me splitting my time between New York City, and Atlanta, where I work year round as a professional actor. I am CoFounder and current Artistic Director of Nerve Project Theatre Company, a member of the Alliance of Resident Theatre's in New York City since 2018Lets create something.

I'm originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. I have a fondness for petting dogs, tasting bourbon, and playing the guitar. I grew up putting on plays with my siblings in my parents garage and inviting the neighbors to come watch. In the 8th grade, I got cast in my first play ever; You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. I played Snoopy. From then on I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. The rest was just details. I went on to get a BFA Theatre Arts with concentrations in Professional Acting and Musical Theatre from East Carolina University (GO PIRATES!). I received my Meisner Training from Neighborhood Playhouse graduate Gregory Funaro. I believe that artists are professional learners, and that is what I have dedicated my life to: learning learning learning and serving serving serving.

I currently take class weekly at Jamie Carol Studios.
